An automatic sprinkler fire protection system is an active fire protection method of fighting fire with water. This method consists of a water supply system that provides sufficient pressure and flow rate of water via a system of pipes to the installed spray sprinklers.
A fire sprinkler system is cost effective, reliable and simple to operate and maintain. The main components of the system are the sprinklers, sprinkler monitoring equipment, flow meter and ac automatic alarm check valve.
The sprinklers are an automatic system of fire control, which are activated because of an increase in temperature produced by a fire. Temperature and color range of sprinkler bulb:
Red: 68ºC, Yellow: 79ºC, Green: 93ºC, Blue: 141ºC, Black: 260ºC
PRE-ACTION & DELUGE SYSTEM
These systems are specifically designed for the protection of high value “Business Critical” areas where sensitive electrical equipment or goods are stored to provide prior warning of system discharge or prevent system discharge caused by accidental damage to a sprinkler or system pi pework.
A Pre-action sprinkler system comprises a standard Deluge valve sprinkler system and an independent system of heat or smoke detectors installed in the same areas as the sprinklers.
